Here goes little Vera Darlene Swapp's birth story!
I woke up Friday morning at 6am with crampy like contractions that were about ten mins apart. I waited for an hour then got up and got ready, packed my bag and did some laundry. My mom and dad were here so we were going to go the Park and target then go get checked at the Drs. Office. In the car my mom and my contractions changed my mind and we went straight to the Drs! It was about 10am when we got there and the doc said I was at a 5cm and 90% effaced, then she asked if I wanted to strip my membranes. I look at Greg and we both say sure. Ouch, it was quick, but boy did it hurt! Then she sent us straight over to the hospital and we checked in and got monitored. At 11am-12pm they let me walk around the halls while my mom rubbed my back for every contraction. After I get monitored again they set up the tub for me and I'm in there from 1245-145pm. This is when my contractions get intense but the water felt good and Greg was so sweet holding my hand to squeeze it to death and giving words of encouragement. Then I get tired so back to more monitoring and then I sit on the bouncy ball with my mom rubbing my shoulders and Greg rubbing my lower back. My sister-in-law Mai came and was sweet to help me through some contractions. I'm waiting for my water to break but nothing is happening! Finally they check me and I'm at an 8 and 100%! Then I decide to have the Dr. break my water. When she finally comes and breaks the water, I immediately get the urge to push!!
The Dr. said go ahead, I did and she said wait, stop stop stop. She had to gown up and I was hysterical that she wouldn't let me push!! Finally I can push so I give about three pushes and her head is out! One more and I'm done! 2:49pm shes out, Hallelujah! They put her little cream cheese body on me and she starts wailing! Finally we had our princess Vera! 7lbs11oz 20.5in long.

So this was 19 weeks with Will
And this is our second peanut at 19 weeks!
I just wanted to see if these pregnancies were looking the same and compare if I was bigger this time around since it's my second. I guess I'm on track for now; (except my bump shape looks different) we'll see about later on. Hope I don't sound obsessed with myself. I'm just curious and I want to document every pregnancy as well as I did with Will
Anyways we find out next week what we are having and I'm taking a pole so leave your Vote!

If I've seemed off lately...
I don't know how many people still read my blog so I guess this is like a test! Greg, Will and I are expecting another addition to the family on January 31st. That makes me 17 weeks along! We are so excited for this little one and honestly quite nervous too. I know it's going to be difficult having two kids almost exactly two years apart, but we will do it. I'm finally starting to feel better, nausea was bad. I'm still super emotional; like I cry at every TV program commercial and story I read to Will! I also get really angry which I'm trying to control better because I look ridiculous. I know Will has no idea, but I'm sure he will know something is up when my belly continues to get bigger(already feeling big!). We will find out what we are having next month sometime! I can't wait to know so that I can start on some projects. Wish I had a more fun way to share this, but well I guess its fun in and of itself.
Here is our captured picture perfect reaction, haha just kidding! |

San Fran
This is our trip to San Fran, we had such a good time with the family and Will loved playing with his cousins! It was also nice to cool down a bit from this Colorado heat.
In the back yard for a safari!
Such a big boy I love him so much!
This is my mom's dad, we call his great grandpapa, Will loved him and would share everything with him, even his binki!
beautiful ocean view, past the fog can't you see it
Papa, papa! couldn't get enough papa. every morning he would straight to my dad's door and bang on the door then go to the guitar(pictured above) and pound on that. He was a little crazy about it!
So even if he got trampled on, Will would have to be on the trampoline with his cousins. I was a nervous wreck about it, but he was having the time of his life! they had to take a break for snacks though, of course!

Estes Park
So Greg and I were able to go on a little getaway trip this past weekend while Greg's parents watched Will! This was my first time away from Will, and it was only two days, but I still missed him! This break was much needed and I'm so thankful to my in-laws for taking care of Will.
The Stanley Hotel, The Shining was not filmed here, but this is where Stephen King got his inspiration for the book, it is very old and creaky; not to mention creepy! You can hear everything through the walls. I didn't sleep very much because I am a pansy, and we watched just a little of the Shining (which they have a whole channel dedicated to playing the movie 24/7) and that was enough to freak me out. Combine that with missing Will and I was a wreck at night! Its a beautiful building though, lots of weddings here.
Greg thought this was so funny that there was Chinese food right near a dog grooming place, not very appetizing.
I don't why I'm super posing in this picture, oh well look at that view! beautiful place. It reminds me a little of Lake Tahoe, which is dear to me from my childhood. Love the hubs for taking me here, so sweet!
Rocky Mountain National Park(elv. 11,000+ Ft.)
It was so beautiful in Rocky Mountain National Park! And cold and windy, hence the hair. Or its just my glamor shot! This drive is so beautiful, we must be getting old because we like to take long drives. Its was very peaceful and inspiring to see all this beauty. I felt like Maria from the sound of music. I wanted to sing the hills are alive, seriously! The Stanley Hotel, The Shining was not filmed here, but this is where Stephen King got his inspiration for the book, it is very old and creaky; not to mention creepy! - Nsync or Backstreet? (Cuz were in 6th grade again, ok?) backstreet boyz!! They came first and were better.
- Why in your opinion is Rihanna singing songs with Chris Brown who beat her to a pulp? (this has been on my mind lately!) publicity, I don't know.

- What is your worst fear/phobia? To crash in an airplane over water and be eaten by sharks! Aren't you?!!
